Between experience and innovation.

Since 2002, Lipsie has worked in professional language services. Over more than two decades, we have seen technologies, markets and language practices evolve, adopting new tools with care without treating translation as a purely technical process.

We have worked through very different periods. Rather than follow every new development, we have focused on identifying which advances can genuinely change the way organisations work with languages.

A story that began in 2002. Languages, technology and innovation.

Where we started

In 2002, the language industry was a very different place. Projects still depended largely on desktop publishing, websites were only beginning to take shape, and artificial intelligence was still closer to research than to everyday professional use.

Since then, we have worked with publishers, companies, institutions, professionals, audiovisual productions and international organisations, following the changes in multilingual communication and the technologies that support it.

Our approach

More than two decades of experience have led us to develop a multi-agent H2T® system (Human Translation Technology), a proprietary methodology combining specialist expertise, professional supervision and advanced technologies.

We do not treat technology as a replacement for experience, but as a tool to be used with judgement and clear, verifiable criteria. Each project is built around a balance between automation, linguistic expertise and human oversight.

Where we are investing

Innovation remains part of our long-term work. We developed SUB2DUB®, a system that turns subtitles into dubbing dialogue through processes combining linguistic adaptation, advanced voice synthesis and voice timbre reconstruction.

With LipsieSync™, we have extended this work to speech-to-speech technologies, integrating interpretative adaptation, voice optimisation and AI-assisted video lip synchronisation.

These tools are designed to extend the possibilities of audiovisual localisation without reducing the role of professional adaptation, decision-making and creative control.

Looking ahead

For more than twenty years, we have seen tools, platforms and ways of working change. We continue to invest in research, automation and artificial intelligence applied to language workflows, guided by a conviction we have held since 2002: innovation is valuable when it helps us do better what was once more complex, slower or simply out of reach.

No two projects are alike. That is why we do not work with standard solutions.
