The milestones of our editorial translation agency Lipsie: great experience and passion since 2004.
Founded in 2004, our team of linguists specialised in literary artistic editorial translation services got off to a flying start, translating its first works into four languages (Italian, English, Spanish and German) on behalf of the French Presses-Solar-Belfond (Havas , Vivendi Group), under the new Fitway Publishing brand.
In the two-year period 2004-2006 we completed the editorial translations of numerous series such as Vivre le sport – including the book Kitesurf by the sportsman Marc Bory, the compact collection – including Graffiti, an original work by the famous journalist Sandrine Pereira. We also remember the translation of the fantasy novel, The Principles of the Atlantic, edited by the highly talented photographer François Rousseau and the well-known novelist Patrick Grainville – Prix Goncourt 1976.
We also completed the translation of an intimate biography of the Hollywood cult actor, Clint Eastwood, written by novelist Christian Authier, the translation of the documented biography of Ernest Hemingway by Jean-Pierre Pustienne, a scrupulous journalist who collected the testimonies that the great American writer left in every bar he frequented in his life time.
A romantic journey through time told by Le voyage s’affiche – Fer by the writer Jean-paul Caracalla, the hyper-trendy subject, La mia Capanna, by the journalist Frank Roots, the sociological work Métrosensuel by Teddy Aymard, the spicy scenario of Un rien m’habille written by Elodie Piveteau and illustrated by extraordinary photos by Philippe Vaurès-Santamaria, the book for lovers of the king of cigars, Habanos. Pour le plaisir by Philippe Hupp, the useful manual of daily well-being, No more stress by Delphine Barbier Sainte-Marie and illustrator Alain Bouldouyre, the sagacious and ironic story No low batt described by the talented pen of Pierre Doncieux and by the illustrations of Jean -Pierre Cagnat.
