2004

Translations of literary series

Founded in 2004, our team of linguists specialised in literary artistic editorial translation services got off to a flying start, translating its first works into four languages ​​(Italian, English, Spanish and German) on behalf of the French Presses-Solar-Belfond (Havas , Vivendi Group), under the new Fitway Publishing brand.

In the two-year period 2004-2006 we completed the editorial translations of numerous series such as Vivre le sport – including the book Kitesurf by the sportsman Marc Bory, the compact collection – including Graffiti, an original work by the famous journalist Sandrine Pereira. We also remember the translation of the fantasy novel, The Principles of the Atlantic, edited by the highly talented photographer François Rousseau and the well-known novelist Patrick Grainville – Prix Goncourt 1976.

Translation of biographies

We also completed the translation of an intimate biography of the Hollywood cult actor, Clint Eastwood, written by novelist Christian Authier, the translation of the documented biography of Ernest Hemingway by Jean-Pierre Pustienne, a scrupulous journalist who collected the testimonies that the great American writer left in every bar he frequented in his life time.

2005

Translations of magazines

In 2005 we managed the drafting, verification of nomenclatures and translation of articles into English for the Charme magazine, of the company TLC SPA, Royal Demeure Group, a single brand that brings together and unites prestigious hotels located in historic buildings.

2007

Expansion

In 2007, our sector dedicated to literary and editorial translation was enhanced with the arrival of a graphic designer and a Web expert specialised in cross media database publishing services. The main goal was to be able to easily manage all large editorial translation projects, from translation, editing, proofreading of the original model for printing.

From 2007 to 2013 we also edited the English translations of the Check-Out magazine, distributed in flight by the airline Wind Jet in collaboration with the Damamedia publishing house.

2009

Translation of an encyclopaedia on world art

In 2009, our editorial translation agency Lipsie enthusiastically experienced the beginning of its collaboration with Hachette Partenariat Développement. The most important project involved the translation and layout of the encyclopaedia “The great treasures of art” into French. This cyclopean activity concerned the translation of the artistic collection, which can be considered the largest museum that mankind has ever imagined. Composed of 4,600 pages and over 4,500 images and captions that allow readers to savour the greatest masterpieces of plastic art of all time.

Translation of novels

Also in 2009, we made our debut in the translation of detective novels with a novel by the Italian author Maurizio Salva, Le tracce del serpente (The trail of the snake) for the publisher iUniverse.

2010

Translation of E-books

In 2010, in collaboration with the radio LifeGate Spa, we completed the translation into French, English, German and Spanish of the E-book La felicità del cambiamento (The Happiness of Change) by Ervin Lazlo (Hungarian philosopher and pianist twice nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize) and the entrepreneur committed to safeguarding the planet, Marco Roveda. http://www.zeroimpactfuture.org – e-book written in collaboration with some of the most important thinkers and Nobel Prize winners at the beginning of the millennium.

2011

Start of our collaboration with the French Ministry of Cultural Heritage

In 2011 we started our collaboration with the French Ministry of Cultural Heritage – through the Culture France network.

 

2014

Translation of commemorative books

In 2014, to coincide with the hundredth anniversary of the very prestigious Milanese event EICMA (International Bicycle, Motorcycle and Accessories Exhibition), we completed, in collaboration with Meet Eventi s.r.l., the English translation of the volume Centenary of EICMA – ME-6-2014 – ID 1290.

2015

Translation of fiction and screenplays

2015 started with the translation into 11 languages ​​of a fiction edited by Olivier Paquet – a French political scientist and science fiction author – holder of the Grand Prix de l’Imaginaire for the work “Synesthésie”. The work we translated – Cap 2025 – the co-construction of the strategy of a large international company – was commissioned by the ADEO Group (112,000 employees in 15 countries), the third largest group in the world specialised in the sale of DIY products, including Leroy Merlin.

2019

Translations of digital museums

In 2019, the Micro-Folie cultural and global project – the digital museum procured by the French Ministry of Culture, saw us engage in the translation of works of art descriptions – data sheets for the works preserved by all the best-known museums across the Alps:
